Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing, it’s absolutely free. The only fees that are payable are credit card transaction fees for transactions processed on the website, as per the terms and conditions of our online payment portal PayFast.
Follow the steps on the website from the homepage through to registration, and your honeymoon will be all planned for you in a few minutes. We will send you a formal quote once you have registered your honeymoon fund for your perusal and confirmation of the honeymoon package you want to book.
Simply tick the ‘Keep my honeymoon a secret’ tick box. This means your honeymoon gift registry will still be listed on your profile, but the destination will be a secret to the guests. As an added benefit, upon departing for your honeymoon, we will let your guests know where you have decided to go on honeymoon.
In travel we can book 9 months in advance and therefore this should be when you start to plan your honeymoon. From experience we recommend not leaving it to later than 3 months in advance, in order to avoid the disappointment of resorts/flights being fully booked.

Most couples will need to pay for a portion of the honeymoon. We encourage our couples to pay for the deposit and then collect the remainder as gifts, as well as to be aware of budget when booking the honeymoon so that they are able to cover any remaining costs themselves, if need be. Some couples book their travel on a credit card and then as the gifts come in closer to the wedding, you will essentially reimburse yourself for those costs.
No, you are welcome to leave your fund open for your guests to continue contributing to your honeymoon. However closure of your fund should be a few days prior to your departure date in order to allow for the fund to be paid out and all final details confirmed.

When we quote you on your honeymoon package and a deposit is paid to secure the booking, the remaining amount is subject to change depending on the fluctuation of the exchange rate.

The packages on our website are only examples of packages available, we can customise any package to your needs and requirements. Give us a shout and let us help you plan your perfect honeymoon.
